Job - Accounts Administrator £13,500 - £14,500. 6 Month Contract
My client, a local government body is looking for an accounts administrator to join their busy team. Initially this is a 6 month contract but for the right candidate there may be a permanent opportunity.
Daily tasks and duties will include;
- Processing of LPW grant application forms
- Inputting this information into the database.
- Day to day enquiries (verbal & written) on services delivered
- Photocopy and dispatch of payment run
- Provide cover for the processing of daily receipts
- Provide cover for the processing of daily travel & subsistence claims
- Provide cover for the processing of invoice registration
- Provide assistance to colleagues where necessary
- Additional tasks as required
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- A high level of computer literacy, as the team operates five different systems on a daily basis
- Flexible and a committed team worker, Ability to prioritise work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- High level of accuracy
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Ability to manage workloads to meet client Service level Agreements
- Excellent communication skills Whilst inputting is a large part of the role, volumes are not high, so there is no need for excessive speed. Instead the successful candidate will be someone with high levels of accuracy and will have a rounded finance background.
