My client is looking for Support Workers (Learning Disabilities) Grade 2 in Merthyr Tydfil , Wales , these are full time permanent positions and you must be able to work shifts in a flexible manner revolving around the service user needs , which will include evening , weekend and sleep-in work.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the tenants lead valued and fulfilling lives and this is a great opportunity to join a fast growing national organisation. To apply for this role you must hold a Social Care NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification and be able to demonstrate a passion for caring and an understanding of the needs and issues relating to people with a learning disability or mental health needs.

Also essential to being successful in this Support Worker role is the ability to maintain accurate records and write clear reports , you must also have had proven experience of working with people with learning disabilities or mental health needs and a commitment to providing sensitive support to enable people to live as part of their local community.You will also be willing to contribute to the cleaning of the home , involving service users in these tasks as much as practical.
