We are currently recruiting for a Linux Specialist Consultant for a short term contact role.



Our client has a number of Linux Redhat / Apache Tomcats web-servers and are currently seeking a Linux Specialist to harden the host environment.

This will involve closing open network ports, setting up intrusion-detection systems, firewalls and deactivate unneeded features in configuration files or perform various other protective measures.



Candidates will be expected to have strong Perl / Python experience. Any experience of JMX is advantageous but not essential. You will need to be UK based due to potential time zone issue and you will be expected to commute to South Wales for on-site visits.



This is an excellent contract role, to be considered you MUST have experience the relevant experience and be immediately available.
