SEB Collective Cymru in conjunction with Y Fuwch Goch and Clwb Ifor Bach is looking for the best solo, duo or trio acoustic act in Cardiff. With the success of the open mic and the standard of talent it has brought a competition will be run to find the best original acoustic act in Cardiff and the surrounding area. Entrants will be judged on performance, song writing and the utilization of instruments used to allow for equality between soloist, duos and trios. Competitors will have the depths of their material challenged as all entrants who qualify for the semi finals will only be able to repeat one song from the previous round. Prizes will include radio session, a day in the studio, a photo shoot, a slot in a SEB Collective London showcase, a gig at Clwb Ifor Bach, a £250 cash prize and more. Preliminary and semi final rounds will be held at Y Fuwch Goch leading to a grand final in Clwb Ifor Bach (The Welsh Club) in early December.
