Carer Companion Required Split Shift or Live-In

Date posted: Sunday 1st November
Location: Gloucestershire

Disabled gentleman (late 30’s) who suffers from Cerebral Palsy and uses an electric wheelchair requires Carers/Companions to work on either a split-shift basis or a 24 hour Live-in basis - (4 days one week and 3 days the other week). I am looking for Carers/Companions who are able to offer a long-term commitment to ensure continuity of care. Some caring experience would be ideal but not essential as training will be given. I have a large vehicle (automatic) so a competent driver is essential.

I live with my parents in a rural location near Stroud. I will be highly dependent on you for virtually ALL aspects of ordinary daily life including all aspects of my personal care (except for feeding). I also require some care at night. I have a serious stomach & bowel complaint. I also suffer from Sleep Apnoea and I have problems with my feet.

I am looking for a kind, compassionate, patient and understanding carer who is prepared to help me to lead an independent life both inside and outside the home.

I enjoy walking, shopping going concerts, sports events (darts, tennis snooker, rugby, going out for meals and going to the Theatre.
