Opportunity for an electrical engineer with a background on DC power systems to be an integral part of a well established company, and to be the link between the customer and the design department.
This company is a major national and international manufacturer of a range of medium voltage distribution and transit switchgear. Their reputation is based the quality of product and design which delivers results that ensures customer satisfaction.
Working from their centre of excellence in South Wales you will be instrumental in driving the new products through to the customer.

The Role:

* Liaise with customers to enable understand the specification to meet their specific requirements.

* Determine the appropriate ratings and performance requirements from the customer's switchgear specifications.

* Issue equipment specifications to the Drawing office, Manufacturing and Procurement departments

* Liaise directly with Customer's engineers on all technical matters relating to contracts, this will also periodically require site visits.

The Person:

* Electrical qualification
* DC power experience
* Excellent communication skills
