Job: Customer Sales Associate - Bank / Building Society
Salary: £12000 - £14000

As a full time and permanent Sales Associate you will provide a professional and customer-friendly service to clients of the bank / building society. Working in a high street branch of less than 10 members of staff you will work well with others and have the necessary confidence to approach customers and build a rapport with them.
You will be discussing savings and account products with customers with a view to match products to customers needs and complete successful sales. You will also be required to open customer accounts as well as promote related products / services to retain customer business as well as complete all associated administrative duties as relevant to the role.
Working under the Branch Manager you will participate in team meetings and contribute to the success of the branch.
To be considered for the role you will have a good level of local knowledge of the customer base, place customer service at the heart of your role and demonstrate teamwork.
You will also be required to handle sums of money at times and need to work accurately as well as efficiently. The main focus of the role is to convert customer enquiries / develop customer relationships into successful sales and increase branch business.
Successful candidates for the role will be currently working in a customer facing role with an emphasis on sales and service. You may currently be working in a high street retail store or for a financial institution and be looking to bring your sales and service skills to the retail banking sector. Alternatively you may currently be working for a travel agency, mobile phone sales shop or an estate agency and be looking to change the direction of your career.
