Receptionist
Location: Cardiff
Salary: 13,000 GBP / Year
Main Duties of This Post:
* Provide a pleasant, helpful and efficient reception and enquiry service for patients, staff and visitors.
* Arrange appointments and deal with requests and enquiries.
* Deal with patients arriving at the surgery for appointments and ensure appointment system is properly administered.
* Assist with the maintenance of patient records, including new patients.
* Deal with incoming telephone calls.
* Receive and distribute post and arrange the organisation of outgoing mail.
* Copy distribute and file paperwork to support the work of the Practice.
* Arrange transport and visits by district nurse as appropriate.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills.
* Polite, clear and concise telephone manner.
* Good IT literacy.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Highly organised approach.
* Flexibility.
This is a full time 40 hour week post.
