Our client is a rapidly expanding chain of retail outlets. Due to its success, it is looking to recruit an Accountant / Bookkeeper to help support the growth of the business.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee the accounting functions of several small businesses, which will include:

• Preparation of management accounts
• Cash / bank reconciliations
• Payroll and purchase ledger
• VAT Returns
• Sales / Cash Reporting & Analysis using Excel
• Overseeing rental agreements & employment contracts

You will ideally be AAT Qualified and have a friendly and outgoing personality. The role demands close interaction with several Managers in the business, so good communication skills are paramount. Excellent IT skills are essential and Sage experience is desirable. You will be able to influence at all levels and be prepared to take on a variety of different projects with enthusiasm, intelligence and commitment.
