This is working on an intensive behavioural educational programme with a very happy and bright 5 yr old boy whom loves to learn with autism who has been on the programme for 2 yrs. It is working one on one teaching step by step until a whole skill is mastered...i.e. cutting is hand on hand doing a line until he can cut the line on his own. It includes every developmental skill from getting dressed, writing, language development, social skills, eating, maths, reading via a very structered way of teaching to ensure everything learnt is done to his best ability at home, school and other community setting.

It is run 50 weeks a year. Holiday and sick leave is unpaid and I ask no holidays be taken in school term time as the boy goes to school part time as well with the tutor. Their is a fixed 2 week unpaid break to cover the 2 weeks a year the ABA programme is not run over the Christmas and New Year period. There is a two month probation. No past experience in ABA needed, but right attitude, warm and motivated personality a must!

I would also need to know your future plans, as it is expensive training tutors and getting them CRB checked and hope I can find someone who wants to work for more than just a few months.
