My PC has given up the ghost, so I'm looking for a laptop to play old games, DVDs and write CVs/job apps on.

I can be a little flexible with offers and can even consider laptops with a few battle scars.

Again min specs would be:
Processer - >1.3Ghx
RAM - =/> 1Gb (though am flexible dependant on price)
OP - XP or if up to it wondows 7 ideally. Office would be nice too.
HDD - Not too concerned >30gb
USB 2 - this is a must, must have working USB2 ports.
Wireless/Wired LAN connectivity essential.
Optical DVD player, would like CD rewriter too.
