Muscular actor aged 20-30 wanted to play a young king in a newport university graduation film. The film is a 10 minute fairy tale based loosely on a Terry Jones short story. A quirky comedic tale of a vein king who makes a deal with the devil. (short premise at the bottom of the page)

The role is unpaid as we have only a very small budget. However it will be a very professionally run production and would be great experience for somebody interested in film acting. Obviously we will provide you with a copy of the film, a full costume photo shoot that would be great to add to a portfolio and we will provide travel food ect during the production. We will be submitting the film to festivals after its completion.

Premise

Once upon a time there was a King who was old and, depressed with age, he sat alone in a self-pitying stupor. His queen was distant, his son didn’t respect him and he completely forgot he even had a daughter, little princess May.
Meanwhile, In the Eternal wastelands, Carnifex the demon wakes up to discover he’s eaten every last child in Hell. And so, with the efficiency of a door-to-door salesman, Carnifex makes a deal with the old King. For just one child a day, the King would be young, and strong and handsome once more. Needless to say the King agrees, but little does he know that Princess May is hiding under the throne and hears the whole bargain.
