I never thought I'd every actually place a personal ad but figure it might actually be worth a shot. At the very least, it can't hurt.

I'm an easy-going, friendly girl but I find it difficult to meet new people these days - interesting, sober people anyway. A lot of my friends have recently either moved away or moved in with partners, either way they're never around. So I need to widen my social circle but don't see that happening around town at the weekends anytime soon.

Sure it would be wonderful to meet the perfect guy for me but I'm not looking to jump into anything and I'd be quite happy just to make a new friend :-)

I don't have any unusual, exciting interests. Well, I've got a secret desire to learn how to fence but that doesn't count as I haven't actually done anything about it yet. Mostly I like films, books and walks. I can be a bit of a geek sometimes but I'm not convinced that is a bad thing.
