Test Manager
Based in the South Wales are my client is looking for a Test Manager
Duties will include:
To plan, lead and manage a project test team, reporting to the Solution Acceptance Manager.
Test phases in the test life cycle and key accountability of the end-to-end solution tests.
Test Plan, and schedule, resource mapping.
To ensure that testing is performed as prescribed and agreed. To ensure that quality standards are met and adhered to.
Takes a leadership role and applies appropriate process and project management techniques and skills to scope, schedule and deliver solutions that meet the business needs of the client, and assure the delivery of Alcatel-Lucent services.
Main areas of responsibility
Day to day management of the Testers
Defining a regression practice - and recommendation and implementation of a automation tool
Closing test projects down to successful exit, on time and in budget.
Delivery of an excellent framework for, and implementation of, end-to-end testing.
Project Life Cycle and best practice guidelines, CMM knowledge
Track record of successful deliveries, within telecom projects
Excellent knowledge of test management tools, Mercury Quality Center.
Good knowledge of Telecom networks, OSS/BSS and IP Security
Solid understanding of voice and data networking applications
Knowledge of current and legacy business practices with in-depth knowledge of Systems Integration in other Telco`s and large Enterprises.
