Our client is a well established and renowned organisation in Cardiff. Due to a maternity leave, they are recruiting for some additional resource in the form of an Assistant Accountant.

Working in a busy Accounts team and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, complete control of the Sales ledger, monitoring & reporting of costs & expenditure.

To be considered for this challenging and varied role, you will ideally be AAT qualified with a 'can do' attitude. You will have excellent IT, Excel and communication skills and the ability to carry out your work effectively and efficiently. You will also need to be well organised but flexible, and able to work well under pressure within a hardworking team.

This role is for a minimum of 9 months with the possibility of it being extended for a further 3 months.

Salary: up to £20,000 pro-rata
