Hi there, I'm an engineering student starting my Masters in September 2008. I'm a fairly easy going guy, sensible mainly but I do like to party often. I enjoy cycling and swimming but I mainly spend my time using the internet. I'm not a huge fan of studying during the year but you wont see me for the month before any exam period as my home becomes the engineering library. I enjoy take-away foods, Chinese, Indian, pizza, anything that gets delivered really - but I also enjoy cooking up concoctions trying to bring out my inner Gordon Ramsey or Delia Smith! Well that's a little bit about me.

So down to business.

I'm looking for 2/3 people to join me and one other in a student house on Malefant street in Cathays.

The house is fully furnished with a fairly new kitchen and lounge. All of the rooms have double beds and enough room to dance too. There are two 'bathrooms' one with a shower cubicle, the other with a bath/shower - both have a sink and toilet.

The house is owned by a private landlord and is on a fairly quiet street. It's away from the noise but certainly within walking distance of the parties to be had in the great city. Parking on the street is not under a permit scheme and usually a space is available within 50meters of the door.

There are plenty of take-aways and convenience stores nearby and a HUGE Tesco just 5 minutes by car.

If you have any questions or queries I'll be happy to answer them.

Q: How far from the university is the house?
A: Depending on which subject you are doing depends on which buildings you'll be attending. Even the furthest buildings are only 20 minutes walk away.

Q: Is there much public transport?
A: There is a bus stop at the end of the road which is on a major route and buses run very frequently. The main train station is a bit far to walk to, however a small one is only 10 minutes away and this will take you on a two stop 70p journey to Cardiff Central station. Taxis are very easy to come by in Cardiff and are reasonably priced, £4-6 each way to/from town/station.

Q: What about TV/Internet and stuff?
A: These precious (to student) commodities are to be sorted once we move in, don't worry though they will be :-)

Q: Are bills included?
A: No, sorry. The bills are to be split between the people living in the house. In the past these have been very reasonable.
