My name is Nick. I am 37 and have lived in Cardiff for 1 year. Myself and my partner were married in March. Before Cardiff I have lived in Yorkshire, Devon and Scotland.

I am looking for some new friends to hang out with from time to time, have a few drinks and a laugh, age not really an issue. I have an occasionally black, often vulgar sense of humour and do not take myself too seriously.

My interests are as follows: I like a lot of music, principally progressive and hard rock from the 1970’s with the occasional touch of jazz. A sample of my favourites would be anything from Gabriel era Genesis, Yes up to 1980 to Aerosmith from Toys through to Draw the Line along with a smattering of Sabbath, Gryphon, Can, Van Halen, many groups of the Canterbury school and just too much more to list……all the ingredients to ensure permanent bachelorhood and an over-reliance on fast-food.

I enjoy going to concerts when there is anyone worth seeing – last concert was Whole Lotta Led – fair but ultimately a bit disappointing. Last Good concert – Nouvelle Vague. Last amazing concert – The Musical Box in Glasgow. Last shit concert – The Groundhogs – you are too old Tony, sorry…. I find a few extra drinks can make the band sound significantly better.

I enjoy archive TV like Blakes 7, Secret Army, Tinker Tailor, I Claudius, The Sandbaggers, The Avengers and quite a few more. I also enjoy movies – favourites would bethings such as Withnail and I, any bleak post-apocalyptic science fiction, the occasional bit of super hero nonsense, you know the drill.
