Flexible on location I have two vacancies for the role and this role will differ from a Technical Project Manager role you will have experience in more than one OSS domain. The requirement is much more for an end-to-end architect profile, with knowledge across OSS domains coupled with an understanding of the underlying telecoms service provider networks.

The position holder will estimate the effort in the solution, then handover the solution along with the documented architecture to the deployment team.

The delivery aspect of the role will see the role providing the Architectural support in the deployment of the Customer solution.

Essential general skills
Architecture and OSS solution development, covering more than 2 fields among provisioning, inventory, alarm management, performance management
OSS process and IT solution expertise
Ability to interface to senior management on Technical issues
Management qualities required: Leadership, Negotiator, Influencer, Commercial awareness
Expert knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Essential technical skills
xDSL services, NGN / IP network and telecom networks expertise

Desirable skills
Standard software languages, middleware and protocols
Knowledge and experience in software estimation techniques
Knowledge of standard software languages, middleware and protocols
Knowledge on third party software (Axiom, Netcool Micromuse, Remedy, Proviso, BEA Weblogic WLI, Cramer)
