Php Web Developer
Job Title: PHP Developer.
Location: Commutable from Cardiff, Newport, Cwmbran, Caerphilly, Bridgend or Swansea.
Salary: c.£20-26,000 per annum, negotiable dependent upon experience.
Start Date: October/November 2009.
We are currently working alongside our successful customer, a growing company with an impressive list of customers from various industry sectors. Offering a challenging function across a broad range of projects, our customer is currently seeking an experienced PHP/Web Developer to join their organisation. Within the role, you will be responsible for the further enhancement of existing pioneering products (making the products your own), as well as investigating and developing new products together with the current Development/Sales teams.
The successful candidate should have c.3 years commercial web development experience and we hope that the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a varied skill set including:
• Extensive knowledge and commercial experience of PHP and MySQL.
• Ideally have experience of technologies such as HTML, Javascript and AJAX.
• Experience in the development of content management systems (CMS).
• It would be ideal if the candidate had some exposure to .NET Development.
• Database Integration.
• Traditional Website Design (HTML) and the development of bespoke E-Commerce Solutions.
• Planning and developing bespoke applications.
• The successful candidate should have good client-side skills and be able to work closely with customers to successfully manage projects from inception to conclusion.
