Job Title: Web Page Designer

3 Mth Contract

Rate: £125/day

Location: Cardiff



We have the requirement for a strong Web page designer, you will be producing a series of web pages as part of an intranet.



You will need to have:

Strong HTML, JavaScript and CSS coding skills

Ability to adapt code produced by others and modify as necessary

Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

Experience with Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office including Front Page

Ability to produce PDF files using Adobe Acrobat software

An in depth knowledge of current web design trends and techniques

Proven experience in resolving cross browser related issues

Experience in producing W3C standards compliant websites

Some knowledge of accessibility issues

Some knowledge of usability issues



Whilst not essential, the ability to use Flash, Dreamweaver, and Adobe Photoshop would be beneficial

Experience with using Content Management Systems in particular Immediacy.

Knowledge of classic ASP

An Art, Design or Media based Honours Degree would be preferred

Some knowledge of branding would beneficial

Some knowledge of finance related processes
