My client has a vacancy for a Senior Support Worker (NVQ Level 2) to be based in the Newport area and provide short term care in the home to support older people who have been discharged from hospital.

Duties will include:
Personal Care
Meal Preparation
Shopping
Housework

As a Senior Support Worker you will also carry out assessments of newly referred service users and liaise with the team to provide the most efficient service.
The position involves some on call , evening and weekend work on a rota basis and will include some office based administration duties.

My client offers 29 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays , a contributory pension and an excellent training programme.
