This is a Lovely 17th Century piece with a Hinge/Pin fastening. I have not seen another like it and Ebay has nothing even similar.
It measures some 6 cm Diameter by 6 cm width and is Sterling Silver...I believe it has a connection with Greek Orthodoxy.
I am selling because I have lost my job but I do not want to let it go.
