Aupair Bridgend South Wales 360 440 per month
We would like to welcome a live-in our house au-pair girl to be our au-pair from Fri 8 January 2010. The family is Swedish and consists of: Mother Anna Borg,33 years of age. Anna is a Dentist in Cardiff & Vale NHS Trust.
The father is 39 years of age, Chris is a Car Loudspeaker engineer at Harman Becker Automotive Systems in Bridgend. We have two children, William 3 1/2 years old and Oliver 2 years old.
Accomodation:
We live in a semi-detached 4 bedroom house in Central Bridgend. The bus station and the Train station is within walking distance. Bridgend is a town with approx. 100.000 habitants. Cardiff is 30 minutes away by car. London is 2,5 hours away by car. Our house is 10 minutes by car from a lovely beach with riding school.
The aupair lives in her own room.
She has full internet access and her own computer and flat screen television in her room
She can use the family’s landline for locall short phonecalls but she has to ring mobile and long distance phonecalls from her own mobile.
She has her own fridge in our kitchen
The house has two bathrooms. We try and use the downstairs shower as little as possible for the aupair to use this bathroom/toilet as her own.
Language Course:
Bridgend College is literally on our doorstep, only 5 minutes walk from our house. At the College you will be able to study at a free English Course 2 hours per week and get a diploma after completed course.

That can work independent and be happy to have a flexible approach as the work description is ever changing.
A trustworthy and reliable person.
An au pair with good organizational skills.
A non smoker
An au pair that is happy to take a language course at Bridgend College.
The aupair should be kind to our children and put their interests first
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00 am – 5.30 pm
Friday: 8.00-1.30 pm
Monthly pocket money: £360 GBP per month basic wage. Up to £440 GBP per month if the aupair is not scared of rolling up the sleeves and keeping the house spot less ! (cleaning the house including the toilets and bathrooms.)
Full board + Lodge. The aupair must prepare her own food or eat the same food as the family is serving. 2 weeks paid holiday per year. The family will help with costs for flight ticket + bus ticket/airport transfer if the aupair stays for a minimum period of 1 year.
Employment starts: 8 January 2010
Duration of employment: Until December 2010.
The job is subject to two good references from previous employers and a CRB check.

Jobdescription:
8.00 Make breakfast and lunchbox to the children.
8.00-8.45 Give breakfast to children + dress children.

Walk both children to school. Approx 15 minutes walk. Leave William 3 years of age in school all weekdays. Go from school straight to Playgroup with Oliver for 9.30 – 11.30 in Church. Oliver shall go to playgroup Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
11.30-11.45 Go home.
11.45-12.00 Prepare lunch to Oliver and yourself.
12.00-12..30 Feed Oliver. The aupair may eat as well, if she wants too.
12.30-14.00 Oliver sleeping in his pyjamas.
12.30-13.30 The aupair has lunch
13.30-14.00 Hang the washing, start a new washing machine.
14.00-14.30 Read story books to Oliver
14.30-14.45 Dress Oliver and put him in the stroller.
14.45 Walk with Oliver in the stroller to William’s school and fetch William. School finishes at 3.15 pm.
3.15 pm-3.45 go home and eat tea or bring fruit/ or tea to the parc.
3.45-4.30 PLAY OUTSIDE IN THE PARC. The parc is a short 5 minutes walk from our house.
4.30. Go home.
4.40 Prepare dinner for the children.
5.00-5.30 Feed the children.
Daily tasks:
Empty all small bins in the large bin downstairs.
Close and tie the black sack and put it outside the house
Wash 1-2 washing machines and hang the washing
Hover the kitchen floor and the living room floor after meals
Help keep the floors free from toys. Put the toys in allocated baskets.
Draw the curtains from the windows in all windows
Thursdays:
Carry bin bags to the front of the house , glass jars and magazines every fourth night.
The work duties may change over time after our children takes part in new activities. But the working hours and the monthly wages are guaranteed staying as advertised. Please note that with this job you do not need babysitting in the evening.
