Registered Nurses (RGN, RMN or RNLD) required for the nursing home element of a superb Care Village near the picturesque market town of Monmouth.

The Nursing Home is situated in a beautifully wooded area and has superb views of the surrounding valleys. This exclusive development, the first of its kind in Wales, is a specially designed and built village for the retired, which combines independent, luxury, cottages and apartments with a wide range of facilities and services. The 100 bed nursing home has the benefit of being brand new opened in January 2009 and boasts a wide range of modern equipment, large spacious private suites, public recreational space, and much outside space.

The home is dual registered for nursing, residential, respite and dementia. Qualified nurses are on duty 24 hours a day, supported by nursing staff with mental health and other specialist skills to ensure the highest quality care for all residents. Salary £10-£12 per hour depending on experience, for a 40 hour week, equating to £20,800 - £24,960 per annum.

The Home also benefits from being led by a manager who is an experienced nurse and has worked in the independent sector as a manager for the past 10 years. He believes strongly in the dignity and right of older people. He is also a nurse lecturer with deep interest in staff training and development.
