Position: Web Developer to assist the Creative Director

Our company creates bespoke e-commerce websites for small to medium retailers in the UK, we are a small company with an expanding client base.

The Candidate

We are prepared to interview individuals that can demonstrate the ability to learn and become part of our team, corporate experience is not essential if you can prove your skill-set at interview.

This is a role for an experienced developer but we invite anyone with passion and dedication to apply. We are a small friendly company and as a result there are many opportunities for the future if you have ambition and a good work ethic.

The Role

You will be assisting the Creative Director in the production of new e-commerce websites and working with other members of staff that are based abroad but English speaking.

You will learn to develop websites with the software that we have designed and coded in house. You must be proactive and effective from the outset, it is imperative that you are able to meet deadlines and are self-motivated.

You will have a sensitivity towards design and should be able to translate flat-screen mock-ups to HTML CSS designs.

You will be working from a home office environment (or from your home) based in Mid Glamorgan, South Wales.

Skills

You MUST be proficient in the following areas.

Current CSS and web standards

Hand Code HTML ability is essential

A working knowledge of PHP, advanced preferred.

User Interface Design for web based content management systems.

Experience with custom Word-press Design.

Familiarity with e-commerce.
