Part-time Bar Supervisor
Stokes Croft, Bristol
£6.50 ph
30-35 hours per week, 6pm – 1/2am (closing times vary), 5 out of 6 nights (Tuesday to Sunday)
On the night that you don’t work you will ensure appropriate staff and stock is arranged

Here at Leftbank Bar we are looking for a first-class Supervisor to support the owner in running a small late license music bar on Cheltenham Road.

You will have to be flexible due to the nature of the business and you’ll have extremely high standards with a proven track record of successful bar management. You must be a team player and a hard working individual.

You will be expected to oversee the bar area, be responsible for stock control, cellar management, staff management and you’ll be extremely trustworthy. An interest in the Arts, especially music is essential. A Personal License would be an advantage.

You need to be motivated, enthusiastic and a good team player as you’ll be working alongside the owner to help the bar to realise the business objectives and ensure that profit is achieved. You’re communication skills need to be of a high standard as the bar has a good reputation for it’s interaction with its customers – many of whom are regulars and friends. The bar is flexible with its closing times depending on business. Also, if business is booming the bar may stay open later to accommodate this.

The role has potential to be developed depending on the enthusiasm, creativity and drive of the individual.
