Hi, I'm Lloyd McNaughton. My studio- XTC studios has now re-opened in cyncoed.

The studio is a Protools based Rig consisting of Industry standard equipment, microphones and most importantly, an excellent producer. It is based in my converted attic, where careful acoustic treatment has been done.

Current rates for the studio are lower than usual due to the re-opening. At the moment it is £30 per track (as opposed to an hourly rate). An advantage of this is that the recording process is not rushed, and more time can be taken to get the best results possible.

THE SESSION:
The studio is open from 9am until 8pm but session hours are very flexible and can be made to fit around you. Mixing and Mastering are not done in the session time (unless requested), meaning that the time you have in the studio is spent getting the best sound possible and not spent waiting around for rushed editing to be done. Instead, the important process of Mixing and Mastering will be done after the session.
