Job - Finance Manager - Newport - £28,000 - Temporary


Our client, a fast moving and rapidly expanding public sector organisation is looking for a high calibre, forward thinking Finance manager to undertake an ongoing temporary assignment.


The main focus of this assignment will be to implement new financial procedures surrounding the management of the Sales and Purchase ledgers, Cashbooks, Reconciliations, payments and keeping the general ledger up to date. This could involve tweaking existing procedures or setting up and implementing entirely new ones. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and will have strong IT skills and technical abilities.


The successful candidate will have prior experience of staff management and will have proven ability to manage and motivate an accounts team. This is a highly demanding role working for a well respected organisation. This is an ideal opportunity to make a major contribution to a prominent public sector organisation.

The successful candidate will have excellent systems knowledge, be a resourceful self starter and have prior experience in a similar role. A sound knowledge of accounting processes is essential
