My client are currently recruiting for a Qualified Chartered Accountant. This role will be reporting directly into the CEO and is a terrific career opportunity for a candidate who is looking to step into a role with strong Finance Management aspirations.

* To be responsible for P&L and balance sheet management
* To prepare and present accurate and timely monthly and quarterly management accounts, and annual statutory accounts including comparisons to budget
* To prepare cashflow forecasts through weekly forecasting and discussions with CEO
* To be responsible for the completion and accuracy of commission income
* Preparation, review and submission of quarterly VAT returns and any end of year tax paperwork i.e. P11d, P35 returns/submissions
* Preparation and agreement of budgets and re-forecasts
* Management and development of the finance function ensuring that all appropriate reconciliations and returns are completed in a timely manner
* Involvement in all key decisions impacting the business e.g. new ventures, acquisitions, disposals, new contracts.
* Line Management responsibility for the finance team including monthly one to one meetings/training and development
* Ongoing liaison with all main financial partners including; merchant account providers, bankers, tax authorities and auditors
* Implementing cost control initiatives across the company
* Implementation of an effective treasury function (effective cash flow management and routines, forecasting, maximisation of investment income)
* Implementation of appropriate purchase ledger payment system
* To be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of hours, overtime and expenses payments
