Admin Lettings negotiator Role in busy up and coming letting agency.
As a Lettings Negotiator the role will entail:
To assist in maximising the overall income and profitability of the agency
Maintain an adequate applicant register
Maintain regular contact with the companies clients
Ensure all appointments are entered into the office diary
Placement of timely advertisements within the expenditure limits set by your Manager and monitor responses
Completion of success sheets and process tenant applications in accordance with company policy
To qualify landlords and tenants according to company policy and in particular in accordance with the information required for completion of tenant and landlord cards/forms
Ensure all sign ups are dealt with efficiently and explanations are provided to tenants where necessary
To meet personal targets set and agreed with your Manager
To carry out viewings and market appraisals in a professional and efficient manner
To follow companies Personal Safety Procedures to avoid putting yourself at risk
Compliance with the companies banking and cash handling procedures
To ensure no let goes ahead without cleared funds
To comply with current legal legislation (i.e. gas safety).
To actively find new ways of marketing to bring both new landlords onto the books and to find new tenants.
Qualifications/Skills Required
The suitable person will have good people skills, be a strong communicator and be experienced working in a face to face customer service and possibly sales environment. A property background would be advantageous but certainly not essential as our client believes you can train in the product and industry but people skills are something which will come naturally to the selected individual.
Applicants should be 25+, hold a full UK driving license and have good IT skills
