Job details: Accounts and Audit Assistant, Cardiff

This is a newly created job within an established accountancy practice based in Cardiff. The job will be working in a team of 10 in the audit and accounts department, where you will be preparing statutory accounts for clients and going out on audit to clients in South Wales and London. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of clients, from sole traders and partnerships to large limited companies requiring an audit. This job would suit a candidate who has experience in practice but is seeking a move to a larger professional practice.

Skills and experience required:



- Previous experience in practice essential

- Studying towards AAT or ACCA

- Ability to prepare accounts from incomplete records

- Experience assisting on audits

- Use of Sage, IRIS or similar software
