The Management Accountants will be responsible for preparing Monthly Management Accounts and associated reports and analysis for a business unit.
· Ensure a smooth transition from local accounting to the shared service function. · Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts and Reports in accordance with UK GGAPP and internal Company reporting requirements· Cost centre accounting for designate central support functions· Preparation of detailed P&L variance analysis and business unit KPI's· Reconcile, review and manage balance sheet control accounts· Work with Area Commercial Managers to review and improve business contributions whilst ensuring cost control on discretionary spend· Assist the Commercial Managers with the Budgeting and Forecasting processes· Management and development of junior finance staff including annual appraisals, PDP's etc. · Ad hoc projects and analysis as required· Maintain auditable (internal & external) month end accounts
