Our client is a substantial regional practice with a diverse portfolio of projects. They cover a wide range of building types for clients in the UK and overseas and are gaining a strong reputation for our work on notable and prestigious projects.
They aim to produce architecture that is responsive to the aspirations and culture of their clients and buildings that are elegant and functional, responding in a creative, contemporary and sensitive manner to specific sites.
The Practice aspires to create architecture that is coherent, both emotionally and intellectually, from inception through detailed design to completion.
They seek to make our buildings energy-efficient, and are fully committed to the use of low-maintenance materials from renewable sources and fully embrace a sustainable approach in our design projects.
The Practice is dedicated to delivery and invests heavily in the training and personal development of its staff, whose loyalty and dedication we can rely upon. They actively review the process of design on a regular basis, generating a keen awareness amongst the staff of each project's development; thereby creating shared aspiration in achieving excellence.
They seek to design buildings that are an inspiration to users, provide a strong identity, and which can stand the test of time. They are fortunate to have achieved recognition for many of their projects through design awards.
Now in its fourth decade, the Practice has developed, within its organisation, such disciplines as Urban Design and Interior Design to complement its already established and recognised architectural skills. In addition, their Planning Supervisory Department has enabled them to advise on the Health and Safety Audit of building design and construction.
The Practice operates on a Team basis, offering a network of support to projects with a group of specialist architects and technologists. Each commission is managed, with day-to-day involvement, by a Director with the commitment of the design skills and delivery expertise appropriate to the project.
The Team Structure is flexible and able to react to the demands of the varied and broad spectrum of commissions, in both scale and complexity. The core philosophy of identifying a collective responsibility for Projects reinforces the need for the support Team Structure approach.
They are looking to fill a number of new positions due to a massive expansion of their work across the U.K., including Architectural Assistants (Part I and II's), Design Architects, Senior Architectural Technicians and Architectural Technologists.
