My client requires a highly skilled, hands on and self-motivated Network tester. This role is primarily focussed on the Network Elements and Element Managers - knowledge of the OSS will be required.
The role is with the Solution Acceptance Test team - testing the end-to-end solution verifying that the deliveries are of quality to be deployed into the live network.
Duties include:

Project Test Leadership to ensure the effective planning and execution of test cases and collaboration with test and wider team members on the project.
Test Planning activities for the generation of modular Test Cases and suites for execution for re-use with other test engineers within the business unit and larger delivery teams across projects to achieve repeatable, functional and non-functional testing reducing risk, cost.
Performance and progression of manual and automated test cases to mitigate the risk and provide confidence for the project.
Effective defect reporting, management and progression to ensure the efficient replication, resolution and re-testing of defects

Designing test cases across platforms- identifying areas of RISK
Writing test documentation
Executing test cases
Defect analysis, recording and reporting
