This stunning restaurant in a beautiful rural location in Monmouthshire is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef with extremely good Chef skills of up to 3 Rosette standard to join their team producing fine dishes from local products.
The restaurant is small yet exclusive and the accommodation is a few miles away so transport would be necessary. The dishes are of an extremely high standard and as Sous Chef you must have a strong background of making everything from fresh, working with fresh local products and enjoying working with creative and passionate chefs.
Junior Sous Chef Requirements:
*Flexibility with hours the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays every week
*A good all rounder having worked in each section of at least a 2 Rosette restaurant
*A passion for the industry
*Willingness to learn from extremely good Chefs
*Great communication skills
*At least NVQ level 2 or equivalent
*Basic Food Hygiene certificate
*Ability to start work as soon as possible/ 1 months notice
The salary for this position is circa: £18,000
Plus a bonus structure to be placed after starting
The live-in accommodation is a couple of miles away so transport will be necessary
