They seek a Registered General Nurse Level 1 to be responsible for providing a high quality residential Nursing service to the Elderly with dementia. A private owned Residential Nursing home based in Rhondda. The registered General Nurse hours of work will be 42hrs a week worked on a shift pattern of days and nights, looking after 30+ residents.

Duties:

To have up to date clinical knowledge in relation to client groups cared for within the Home

To be able to communicate at appropriate levels with all residents, relatives, staff and outside agencies involved in the care of the clients

To be committed to expanding his/her expertise and professional development

To have a good understanding of the role and function of the Nursing Home.

To be an effective team leader and role model.

To have the knowledge to make research based decisions regarding nursing care needs.

To have a flexible approach to working hours.

To be committed to teaching and facilitating learning for all unqualified care staff.

To be able at all times to audit the care delivered to his/her clients ensuring that all their needs are met.
To carry out such duties, including management of the unit, as our deemed necessary by the Home Manager in order to ensure the smooth running of the Home.

To keep the Home Manager informed of any changes in the need of resources

The Qualifications required for this position are:

R.G.N. Level 1
Client will take on Newly Qualified R.G.N. Level 1 Nurse.

£22,932 - £24,000 Annual Salary.
