My client is looking for two Supported Living Team Leaders (Learning disabilities) in Merthyr Tydfil , Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing national organisation.

In this role you will take the overall responsibility for all aspects of the running of the Supported Living Service , ensuring that your team enable the tenants to lead valued and fulfilling lives.

To apply for this role you will have good skills in numeracy and literacy and proven experience of working with people with learning disabilities or mental health needs.You will also have proven experience of working within a supported living environment.You will have achieved or will be working towards a Social Care NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification and you will have a sound knowledge of care legislation , including the Domiciliary Care Standards Act.

You will also have a clear understanding of the needs and issues relating to people with learning disabilities , mental health problems , autism , physical disabilities or other complex needs.You will have a clear knowledge of the role of key-worker and a clear awareness of person centred planning processes and risk assessments as well as knowledge of the CQC inspection process , requirements and procedures.
