Calling all budding writers! - we are looking for short stories (not to exceed 3,500 words) or poems (no longer than 60 lines) exploring this year's theme of 'Elements' for the Aber Valley Arts Festival Compettition.

Based in the Aber Valley this annual community festival includes art, photography and sculpture categories as well(phone 02920831668 for details) It only costs one pound fifty to enter a story (or 3 for #3.00) and 1:00 for each poem (2:00 for 3) but hurry! the deadline is the 19th September

AND IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 ALL ENTRIES ARE FREE!

Judging will take place at the beginning of festival week on the 10th October and prizes will be awarded accordingly.
Short Story Prizes: 80 pounds, forty five pounds and thirty pounds.
Poetry Prizes:50 pounds 30 pounds and fifteen pounds

Please note: the decision of litereary judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into
