My client is looking for Support Workers (Learning Disabilities) in Merthyr Tydfil , Wales.These are full time positions and you will be required to work a mixture of day and night shifts.

In this role you will be enabling the tenants to lead a valued and fufilling life and this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing national organisation. Experience is not necessary just the ability to demonstrate a passion for caring and a willingness to work constructively within a team.

To apply for this role you must have:
Good basic skills in numeracy and literacy
Good verbal communication skills
A positive attitude to people with a learning disability and mental health needs
The ability to use one's own initiative effectively , when appropriate
A commitment to providing sensitive support to enable people to live as part of their local community

Also important is the ability to work shifts in a flexible manner revolving around the tenant needs , which will include evening , weekend and sleep in work.
